SEM: 4.20.23 (Daily SEO News)
a simple AI interface for generating endless Open AI complete articles
Hello!
This is SEM: your daily SEO inspiration, where I curate/summarize one valuable item related to SEO and send it your way M-F.
~
Today I’m sharing a tool made by Ian Nuttall, someone I follow on twitter and who shares a lot of valuable insights. You can follow him too: @iannuttall.
He made a very straightforward web app that takes your keyword and spits out a ChatGPT-guided complete article. There are some options around POV choices and tone, but it’s extremely easy to use. You just enter your OpenAI secret key, put your keyword in, select from a few options to give the AI some direction, and let it run.
Here’s the tweet about it + a link to the tweet that I still am unable to embed where you can watch a quick video walkthrough of the tool:
I've built a free tool to generate SEO-optimized blog posts in the time it takes to finish your morning brew. You can use it to:
- Generate first drafts
- Create guest post content
- Enhance existing posts
- Test AI content quickly

I did a sample post with a “humorous” voice to give it a test. Here’s the opening:
SEO Made Easy: A Beginner's Guide to Dominating Google (Sort Of!)
Are you new to SEO and feeling overwhelmed by all the buzzwords and technical jargon? Don't worry, I've been there too! And I'm here to guide you through the basics of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and help you understand how it can benefit your website.
First things first – what is SEO? Simply put, it's the process of improving the quantity and quality of traffic to your website through organic search results. In other words, it's the art of making your website more visible and accessible to people who are looking for keywords related to your business. But how can you do that? That's where we dive into the nitty-gritty details of SEO strategy – from on-page optimization to building backlinks and everything in between. But fear not, I'll break it down in an easy-to-understand way. So grab a coffee and let's get started!Alright peeps, today we're gonna talk about the mysterious and wondrous world of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Now, if you're new to the game, SEO might seem like a whole new language, but fear not, 'cause I'm here to guide you through it step by step.
So, what is SEO? Let's break it down. SEO is the art of optimizing your website and its content for search engines, like Google, Bing, and Yahoo (yes, Yahoo is still around, believe it or not). The goal is simple - to get your website to rank higher and appear at the top of search engine results pages (SERPs).
But why should you care about SEO? Well, my friend, the answer is simple - traffic, traffic, traffic. More traffic means more visitors, which translates to more potential customers and revenue. And who doesn't want that?
My Take:
Wow, that voice, so super cazsh.
The output here is pretty impressive, very readable. However, it scores a solid 0% human using Originality AI, if you care about such things:
Not to get into it about “does that even matter” (I’m publishing a very in-depth piece about this particular topic in my longform Rank Theory newsletter today or tomorrow: sign up here for that).
So what is Cuppa.sh good for? (Also wow, the most British product name lol). It’s perfect for really low-stakes content needs, like SEO site testing, aged domain content just to get a site live (a dead site can be deadly, here), and so on.
Would I put this content on an established money site?
No way. The risks are too great.
One thing I’ll never do again: Lorem Ipsum text. Why use that shit when you can add instead some really BOSS facts about hippos?
If you have any other use-cases for a tool like this sound off in the comments. I’d love to hear about them.
